We're renaming our "Daily Tieguanyin" to "Monkey Picked Tieguanyin"; the package you receive may be labeled with either of these names.
A solid everyday Anxi oolong, our Monkey Picked Tieguanyin (formerly Daily Tieguanyin) is rich, mid-oxidized, and fired slightly higher, hearkening back to a more traditional style of tea craftsmanship.
Harvested in Autumn, the leaf is oxidized to roughly 30% before being treated to a medium roast. The resulting tea is smooth, nutty, and floral, with a delicious balance of bright aromatics and roasted finish.
